Columbus, OH – There is a shortage of event space in Columbus. With its rapidly growing population and thriving economy, Columbus, Ohio is starting to feel population growth it hasn’t felt before. Along with that growth comes an increased demand for conference spaces that can accommodate hosting larger scale, recurring or longer-term events.

Epicenter, LLC’s founders discovered the shortage of event space in Columbus in the course of organizing regular training workshops of over 150 people. “We were often running into challenges finding space when we needed it, and also found many of the spaces to have inconvenient and expensive parking options,” said Zed Clark, general manager of the new conference center, “We saw the opportunity for a flexible corporate event space that was centrally located, with easy to adapt, large, open rooms, and plenty of restaurants, hotels, free parking, and entertainment nearby.”

Epicenter Event Space is located in the Morse Centre shopping plaza at 2100 Morse Rd., Unit #4665. Halfway between Route 71 and Easton Shopping Center, it is directly next to Guitar Center. With more than adequate adjacent parking, Epicenter is eminently convenient. The facility has a large foyer, a 2000 sq.ft. meeting room (the Front Room) and a 4000 sq.ft. meeting room (the Elephant Room), which can hold events of 142 and 258 people respectively. There are also two additional breakout rooms at 1000 sq.ft. and 600 sq.ft. Epicenter is easily able to accommodate up to 400 people when all rooms are utilized. It is handicap accessible with ample restrooms and a kitchen area for staging caterers.

Epicenter’s services also can include premium Bose sound equipment, and state of the art video conferencing A/V equipment. The entire space has high-speed wi-fi and is also wired for ethernet. Chairs and tables are included. “We wanted to make a high quality experience for our clients, without nickel and diming them for things like internet. We have an easy to plug and play facility, and are keeping things simple with our pricing and customer interactions. We have teamed up with several local caterers and other event service providers to offer simple packages for standard event types, like luncheons” said Clark.

The Epicenter is intended for corporate events of all kinds, including off-site business collaborations, luncheons, happy hours, workshops, seminars, continuing education classes, expos, meetings, conventions, parties and celebrations. It is a creative space, where teams can come to break out of their comfort zone to create extraordinary results. It is also perfectly suited for paid seminars or workshops or to host a graduation, recital, wedding, reception, birthday party, reunion or other private event.

The Epicenter is having a Grand Opening party on December 13th, 2016 from 4-7pm in order to introduce itself to the event coordinators and event space users in the region. Music, hors-d’oeuvres and drinks provided.
